Deputy Director General, Payment Systems Department, State Bank of Vietnam
Mr. Le Anh Dung is Deputy Director of Payment Systems Department, State Bank of Vietnam. He graduated with a Bachelor of Banking and Finance from National Economics University in 1999 and earned a Master's Degree in Banking and Finance from Monash University (Australia) in 2005. Mr. Dung has nearly 20 years of experience in central banking and payment systems at the State Bank of Vietnam. He has an interest in and often handles many payment related issues such as payment systems, electronic payments, e-money, cryptocurrency, non-cash payment promoting, innovative payment services. In addition, he has recently involved with new areas such as digital transformation in banking, digital banking service, digital technology application, e-KYC ... in Vietnam. He also joined the working group on ASEAN payment and settlement system (WC-PSS), contributed to payment aspects of financial inclusion in the Fintech era report of the PAFI Group under the CPMI-BIS Committee.
