Mr Tran Hong Thang is the Director of MIS Department and CDO of VietinBank. Mr Thang has 19 years experience in IT and more than 10 years working with banking data. Data related experience as followed: 2011-2012: Head of MIS Module – ERP Project, VietinBank 2012: Initiate Data Quality system (DQS), VietinBank 2012: Initiate Customer Data Intergrated (CDI) system, VietinBank 2014-2017: Director of EDW/BI Project, VietinBank 2017: Developed Data Governance Project, VietinBank 2018: Chief Data Officer, VietinBank As of today, Mr Thang is in charge of operating and exploitating the EDW/BI; applying data science in data analysis to extract new insight from data mining for in and external development of VietinBank; Deploy and monitor the Data Governance Program of Vietinbank.
